2000/2001 - opened the restaurant for breakfast. Served pub food, seated 30 people and employed 3 staff. Experimented with fish & batter. Eliminated serving breakfast. Changed the interior of the restaurant and changed the front entrance.

2002/2003 - Opened with an ice cream shop called Shivers. Fish & Chips development stage for 2 years. Now a seafood restaurant with an expanded patio.

2004-2008 - Tourist stop for boaters travelling between Toronto and Montreal. The Boathouse specialty is fish & chips with a large emphasis on seafood. Major expansion creating additional dining seats (from 30-90 seats).

Added a small pub room. Employ 45 staff!

Summer 2008 - We have expanded again. Our customers have continued to be supportive and this is why we keep growing. We have expanded our patio and are now introducing our new pub lounge. Total seating for the entire restaurant is now over 200 people.
